The Million Year Stone

from $16.00

A watercolour print created for a poem I wrote of the same name.

The stone represents time and patience to me. In the poem the very old stone is swept away by the sea. After presumably being in the same place for a long time, it surrenders to the current and lands somewhere new. Roots break through the old hardened exterior and healthy trees begin to rise. Looking back I think it speaks on it never being too late to make a change. Perhaps a reminder that we are always arriving and departing through different stages and cycles in our lives.

Artwork: Original watercolor painting
Paper: Printed on high-quality fine art paper.
